Head Coach

 

Commando Kalekuzi is Pound For Pound's owner and head coach.

As a Middleweight, he is the former IBF Continental Champion, IBF Africa Champion and also challenged for the WBC Continental Championship.



He has a professional record of 30 fights, 2 losses and 19 KO's and he has also had well in excess of 50 bouts as an amateur. 



Originally from Bukavu in the Congo (DRC) his boxing journey took him to Uganda, Kenya, South Africa and then on to fights in European countries such as Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Czech Republic. His long career took him as far afield as Australia and Japan building up vast experience as a boxer and learning the training techniques which are now put into practice in the gym.

Commando retired from professional boxing in 2005 after an IBC Middleweight Title fight in the Czech Republic .

Pound 4 Pound is by no means a one man show, you will be trained by a team of ex professional and even some current professional boxers. This ensures that everyone gets the chance to improve their boxing skill and fitness levels.
